Description
Keeping up to date with responsible lending conduct obligations is vital for a credit provider and/or credit assistance provider.
If you have previously completed the Responsible Lending Conduct full course with AAMC Training, this refresher may be completed every 24 months to remain abreast of amendments and enhancements to the ASIC regulatory guide 209.
This course can be combined with a number of other key modules to meet professional development requirements for Australian Credit Licence Holders (ACL’s), Responsible Managers (RM’S), and Credit Representatives (CR’s). See our CPD Packages offering up to 20 hours of essential content.

By the end of this course, you will be able to
- Understand circumstances where the obligations do not apply.
- Gain information about the consumers’ requirements, objectives and financial situation.
- Gain a clearer guidance on the purpose of making reasonable inquiries and verifications.
- Detail how spending reductions may be considered as part of the licensee’s consideration of the consumer’s financial situation, requirements and objectives.
- Get clarity on more complex situations for some consumers illustrated via case studies
